Stuart Routh - H W Martin (Traffic Management) Ltd
I would like to thank you all especially your lads on site last night for the assistance they gave to a last minute change to the London bound carriageway. A Minister demanded at 22:00 that the London bound carriageway had to be opened to hard shoulder and lane 1 running last night ready for a ministerial visit this morning on site. There were many obstacles we had to overcome but your lads came back to your depot to pick up some white studs for the L/B carriageway. They were extremely helpful and polite and never moaned about the additional works at all.
James Vaks - East Sussex Highways - May Gurney, Design Team
I was very impressed with the quality of the hydro-blast and new lining – crisp, clean & spot-on!
Simon Marchant - Team Manager, Planned Maintenance - East Sussex County Council, Economy Transport and Environment Ringmer Depot
Just a quick mail to thank you and all involved for their hard work and professionalism over the last months and throughout the works.
As mentioned before this is the largest scheme carried out by East Sussex CC since 1994, what I forgot to say about that works was that it took twice as long and cost twice as much, for this scheme to finish on programme has been an absolutely fantastic achievement and whilst I am yet to see the final account we have achieved more works than originally planned.
The combination of multi nationals, local SME's and smaller Sub Contractors has in my opinion shown what can be achieved when working as a team with a common purpose and indeed should be seen as a bench mark for future works in East Sussex.
Mail received from Andy Grainger from Brakes Group:
"I would just like to give some feed back on Ricky and Oly who have been on site this week they are both a credit to your company very proactive in their approach and determined to complete all agreed works. They have both helped me to ensure that everything was right.
Once again thank you to Ricky and Olly"
Email received from R.P. Yelland, Headteacher of St John the Baptist CofE Primary School.
"(…)Just a quick note to say thanks very much for the line markings. The
children are already enjoying playing four square and the basketball
hoop. The line markings look great and it was a pleasure talking with
you and the guys who put the lines down.
Letter of compliment from a resident of Lewes.
"I have been meaning to write this letter for some time, in fact ever since the work was done. I was very impressed with the thoroughness of the preparation for and the high standard to which the repair to the entire length of Lewes High Street was executed. Not only that but the workforce was courteous and helpful during what must have been a difficult period for them and for residents and shop people around.
I hope you will agree that the roads in through the town - and the road markings - have never looked so good. I would very much appreciate it if you would pass on my congratulations to the contractors. (…)"
Email received from Ben Cotton of Carillion Plc, regarding stud replacement works recently undertaken on the A249 in Kent.
"Please pass on my thanks to your crews which carried out the stud replacement works over the past two weeks.
All involved worked hard, the standard of work was good as was their PPE.
Tyler was quick to deal with any last minute on site changes and his gang worked well together."

Mail received from Richard Schacht from Kent County Crematorium Ltd:
"Just a note to say a big thank you (..), who turned up at Charing Crematorium on Monday 6th June as arranged, despite the awful weather we were having to do the car park lining.
As you know I had to close the crematorium for the day especially for this work, and while I appreciate you can't control the weather it was really very good of the lads to turn up and wait for improvement enough so they could complete the work needed. It was very much appreciated as having to close another day would have meant funerals delayed again which never pleases my clients!
The layout is just as I had envisaged, and appears to have been well received so far by funeral directors and public alike. Both Ricky and his colleague were very helpful in delivering the final lining to my sketch, so a job well done all round and has helped me in my future planning."
