Catch Up With Hayden
A few years back we noticed that orders were coming in for 1 or 2 studs by the same person so decided to enquire as to why the orders were so small and what they were being ordered for, it turned out to be a vibrant 9 year old boy called Hayden (pictured above). From as young as 3 Hayden had a passion for all things to do with road markings from basic reflective studs to cats eyes to how the white lines are laid. We were fascinated to know what he was doing with his orders and were amazed with what we saw.
Hayden had built a miniature motorway around his garden using our pothole repair kits and studs.
Knowing this we decided to invite Hayden and his family down the Lydden Hill Race Circuit to watch the machinery spray the markings as well as letting him ride in the cab around the track. 4 years on we wanted to catch up with Hayden and see what he’s been up to.
They have recently moved to the country side where Hayden now has a big garden in which to create road and motorway set ups until his heart is content. Now 13 years old Hayden has begun his 3rd year at secondary school and will be studying very hard working towards getting good grades in his GCSE exams. The Hi-Way team wish you the best of luck Hayden!
We had an idea to take it upon ourselves to go out and learn about pothole filling. Questions on potholes had become more frequent and we noticed we were unable to answer all their queries. We agreed this would be one of many
