Open Week at Northforeland Golf Club

Another year, another Open Week at Northforeland Golf Club. For the past 21 years in the month of June Northforeland have hosted their open week which is usually a week packed full of good golf and even better weather, a certain player even losing his shoes due to the heat (pictured below)

Hi-Way Services sponsored and hosted the fifth day of the week, Wednesday 21st with Team Medley being the format of choice for the event. This turned out to be one of the best days of the week in regard to the weather with the sun firmly beating down all day with the added bonus of the course being in immaculate condition – a massive well done must go to the green keeping staff for the tremendous effort and success in getting the course in such amazing condition.

With the good weather came great scoring with very low scores being posted from most of the field, none however, could get close enough to the eventual winners who posted an unbelievable score of 17 under par, hats off to Christine Chapman, Cindy Penney, Carol Childs & Rachel Wadey.

All in all it was a great day and we can’t wait for next year!
